Athlete of the week achievement: Denis won the individual girls golf championship at the Ebensburg Country Club Invitational with an 84 and shot a nine-hole round of 1-over par 38 in a regular season Laurel Highlands Athletic Conference matchup in wins over Bishop McCort and Penn Cambria. In tennis, she made her varsity debut at No. 1 singles and defeated the District 6 Class 2A singles runner-up, 6-0, 6-0, in the team’s 5-0 win over Central Cambria.
Season update: The Hollidaysburg girls golf team is 3-0, and the tennis team is 3-0.
